Our family owned and valued business has gained cliental of 30+ general contractors and has worked on various sized projects ranging from 500 sqft to 1 million sqft.

Our history

In business since 1976

Manuel Fernandes started working for MacCachren Boys in 1969, where he gained his hands on experience in all areas of cleaning. In 1974, he worked for Nationwide House Keeping Ltd. where he was enrolled in a management position. This is where he learned the business side of post-construction cleaning, dealing with negotiations and contracts with clientele, and expanding their services to include post-construction cleaning and hi-rise window washing along with many other special services. After many years of working with Nationwide House Keeping, he was given the opportunity by Collin Mason, Jeff Mason, and Gareth Mason to continue his venture on his own. In 1989, he founded Nationwide Maintenance Systems Ltd (NMSL).
NMSL began as an office cleaning company, providing daily office cleaning along with special services like carpet and upholstery steam cleaning and shampooing, scrubbing and waxing resilient flooring, etc. In 1996, Manuel passed over leadership to his eldest son, Jason Fernandes, who continued to build on his father’s success. Today it has grown to be one of the biggest post-construction companies in Ontario, providing many different services across the GTA.

We prioritize safety

Our teams prioritize the safety of all and will implement any procedures to ensure the safety of your staff and our members. This may include, but not limited to, providing Traffic Control Personnel (TCP), closing off areas of work using caution tape and pylons, and posting signage and notices to enforce a safe work environment, as per MOL guidelines.
